2nd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NEUROMODULATION 
20th anniversary of neuromodulation in Maribor

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to inform you that on 17 November 2023, Hotel  Arena Maribor held a professional event 2nd International Symposium on Neuromodulation v  Maribor on the 20th anniversary of neuromodulation in Maribor.  It is an extremely important event at the level of Slovenia and our region, which will take place in the organization of the Department of Neurosurgery of the University Medical Center Maribor and the support of the Slovenian Neurosurgical Society, the Slovenian Association for Pain Management and the Slovenian Association for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. We invited experts from  to the meeting Slovenia and abroad. Treatment with neuromodulation and pain treatment is already gaining tradition. We are gaining more and more experience, learning about the good and bad sides, the indications are expanding. At the same time, the development of new technologies opens up new possibilities. Devices are becoming more and more sophisticated, new stimulation systems are being developed... Neuromodulation thus represents a dynamic science, and that is why we want to exchange experiences, present different views on individual treatment methods, establish connections and look into the future of neuromodulation and pain treatment. At the symposium, the main emphasis will be on treatment with deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, neuromodulation and other pain treatment methods and  other areas of neuromodulation therapy. All doctors (mainly neurosurgeons, neurologists, anesthesiologists, algologists, physiatrists, orthopedists, oncologists, colleagues in pain treatment teams, neuromodulation teams...), specialists and medical personnel participating in pain treatment or rehabilitation teams are invited to the meeting.
